Dog Daycare Information

Our daycare provides your dog a safe environment to make new friends, build confidence, and get exercise running, sniffing, and wagging! We offer a fun and playful environment with pet attendants who truly love spending time with your dogs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Vaccinations must be current, including Distemper - Parvo - Rabies - Bordetella. Bordetella is required annually, and must have been given at least 5 days prior to daycare stays. A negative fecal exam is recommended. Please provide a current copy of vaccinations or ask your vet to email or fax us a current record.

  • Dogs must be on a flea and tick preventative from March - November. Flea collars are NOT accepted.

  • Dogs must be free of communicative diseases and have no stitches or open wounds.

  • Dogs over 6 months age must be spayed or neutered.

  • Puppies are accepted after the age of 12 weeks. Must have at least 2 puppy boosters and Bordetella.

  • All dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the building. This is for the safety of all pets and owners.

  • Most dogs are fed at home before and after daycare. If your dog needs food at mid-day for medical reasons or if they are 6 months or younger, we will accommodate. Bring it in a hard sealed container labeled with your dog(s) name and the amount to be given.

Effective June 1, 2020: The State of Iowa Agriculture Department requires that all daycare dogs have a total of 2 hours rest time if attending for over 5 hours. During this time we dim the lights, play soothing music, and do not accept front office traffic. The break is great for our dogs and they seem to really enjoy the "me time."
